Membership Campaign for the Future Forward Economic Alliance
Eligible members include businesses, non-profit
organizations, government agencies and individuals working in or
concerned about the economic future of the region’s 12 counties
(Alexander, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Iredell, Lincoln, McDowell,
Mitchell, Rutherford, Watauga and Wilkes).
Specifically the membership categories include:
- Any city
or town within the counties mentioned above;
- Other public sector entities in those counties
such as higher educational institutions, public or private K-12
schools, multi-jurisdictional bodies, and other agencies or authorities;
- For-profit private sector companies whose production
or client/customer base is all or partially within the boundaries
of eligible counties;
- Not-for-profit entities whose constituency base
is all or partially within the boundaries of eligible counties;
- Any individual interested in the mission of the
Alliance
Membership Fees:
- Eligible counties at $0.05 per capita based on
the most recent estimate of the North
Carolina Office of State Management and Budget.
- Eligible municipalities with greater than 10,000
population at $1,000 and with less than 10,000 population at $500.
- Other public sector entities at $500.
- For-profit private sector companies with fewer
than 50 employees shall invest $150; with 50 to 100 employees
at $250; and with more than 100 employees at $500.
- Not-for-profit entities shall invest a minimum
of $150.
- Individual members shall invest a minimum of
$75.
